Personal Injuries Bar Association is the specialist bar association for barristers who practise in the field of personal injuries.
The aims of PIBA are:
- To provide a forum for discussion on matters of common concern and interest to our members
- To ascertain and represent the views of members on matters affecting their professional interests
- To further the study, understanding and development of the law relating to personal injuries

The ever-popular Annual Residential Conference takes place at St Catherine's College Oxford, from Friday 26 March (evening) to Sunday 28 March (lunchtime). There is the usual mix of interesting topics with speakers drawn from the Bar and beyond plus a chance to relax on the Saturday night; we are delighted that comedian Hal Cruttenden (recently featured on the Royal Variety Performance) will entertain us at the gala dinner. Membership is open to barristers. 'Chambers' schemes are also available for sets with 5 or more PIBA members at a discounted rate. With 8.5 hours CPD applied for, there is a wide variety of topics of interest to PI practitioners at
every level of call. The talks will cover areas of the substantive law, procedure and practice, as well
as medical issues, plus changes to the Bar as impact on PI practice.

JACKSON COSTS' REVIEW: DVD AVAILABLE Our London Evening seminar on 8 March focused on the implications of the Jackson Report, and a recording is now available to purchase at £10 per copy (Accredited for 1 hour CPD).
