London Seminar - Duty of Care in Sport
Title: “Duty of Care in Sport”
Speaker: William Norris QC, 39 Essex Chambers
You should determine how this fits into your individual CPD plan, but the following is a suggestion from PIBA:
Learning objective for CPD plans: to develop a better appreciation of the approach to determining whether there is a duty of care, if so, the standard of that duty and whether it has been breached in personal injury claims arising out of sporting activities.
Learning rationale for CPD plans: to enable attendees to build upon their understanding of liability issues in sports-related claims; what does a duty of care in sport actually mean? Learn how the principles may develop in the future and practical tips for particular situations where a duty may or may not arise.
1hr seminar, which will be followed by light refreshments.
Free to PIBA members and their pupils. No need to book.
