London Seminar - GDPR and IT - what you need to know
Title: “GDPR and IT - what you need to know”
Speaker: Lawrence Akka QC, Jacqueline Reid and Anne Fairpo
The seminar will include 3 presentations addressing at least the issue of information security and more, including:
- the 'highlights' of GDPR
- cloud computing and security; and
- issues of travelling with/without data.
You should determine how this fits into your individual CPD plan; PIBA suggests: A seminar dealing with updating and understanding impact of information security which will be beneficial for practice management and development/ learning new area of law/ technology and information update/ ethical information/ keeping up to date with law
1hr seminar, which will be followed by light refreshments.
Free to PIBA and PNBA members and their pupils. No need to book.
