Welcome.

The world of personal injury is, as you know, in a state of flux.   The Government is keen to remove the right to claim for whiplash injury, to raise the Small Claims Track limit, to impose fixed costs across the board on personal injury cases up to £250,000.   And in the meantime, Lord Justice Briggs is promising to convert the entire civil justice system into a paperless one.

In the face of all the changes, following the Jackson reforms, and the incoming ones, managing a practice in personal injury can be hard.  But it is, I hope you will agree, uniquely rewarding.

The PIBA executive committee works very hard to provide ongoing training to PI barristers and to respond to the numerous consultation papers afoot.  Every member of the executive committee is actively involved in some way.
